Welcome to the Music City Golf Association (MCGA) and Harpeth Hills Golf Course! The MCGA was founded in 1974 with a purpose of sponsoring competitive golf events for recreational and championship golfers across Middle Tennessee. We are proud to be associated with Harpeth Hills, one of middle Tennessee’s best and most challenging public golf courses. Harpeth Hills regularly serves as a qualifying site for state and national amateur competitions including the Tennessee State Amateur and Mid-Amateur, TN-PGA State Open, and USGA competitions.

Each year, the MCGA hosts a variety of team and individual competitions with the goal of providing accessible, fun, and professional-quality competition for all our members. Our season typically spans March to November and players of all ability levels are welcome.

The MCGA’s signature event is the Music City Amateur, a state-level competition that consistently draws some of the best amateurs and senior amateurs in the state. For a schedule of this year’s events please visit the schedule link on this web site.

We are thankful for the founders of MCGA and the legacy they have provided for us. Our goal is to carry on the mission of hosting great golf events, building community, and preserving the beauty and serenity of Harpeth Hills.

We hope that you will consider joining the MCGA. To join, the first step is to fill out this form. Starting with the 2025 season, we are using Unknown Golf as our membership and event platform.

Our Membership Fee is $75 and includes:
